ŠK Dubrovnik organizes online tournament "ŠK Dubrovnik Arena" during pandemic

One of the sports that has also suffered major losses since the Corona virus is chess. All live tournaments are canceled and all live tournaments are postponed. Even the "Candidate 2020 Tournament", which was supposed to give us a new World Champion challenger, was cut in half and we can't say for sure when it will be played.

One of those who take care that the chess in this area for the duration of the Corona virus is not completely extinguished are members of the ŠK Dubrovnik who organize a tournament called "ŠK Dubrovnik Arena" every Friday at 19:00.

So far, 7 tournaments have been played, and the number of participants has risen from the initial few to about 20, which is certainly not the maximum because interest in the tournament is growing and it is expected that the next tournament will far exceed that number.
