Welcome to Hell Chess Club!

Hell Chess Club is a Norwegian chess club connected with FIDE through the Norwegian Chess Federation. We have members mostly from Norway, but welcome players from all over the world! 

Hell – where temperatures can plunge to a bone-chilling -34 ºC in the darkest winter, surrounded by a frozen river, an unforgiving sea, and winds that freeze your innermost thoughts. Hell is more than just a name – it's an ordeal. Right by the legendary Hell Gods Expedition, we've ingeniously discovered the perfect way to thaw our hearts and brains – chess! To all the chess enthusiasts bold enough to seek warmth in this frigid realm, we extend a frosty embrace: Welcome to Hell, where the only thing hotter than our winters is the intense battle over a chessboard!
